Shortly before her wedding, Amy receives an unexpected and exciting gift: the tapes on which her great-grandfather left her his life story. Several of the  women in his family gather then to remember, submitting to debate, the vicissitudes of this famous gypsy, and father of Catalan rumba: Peret (1935-2014).

Through the voiceover of the musician himself, the documentary transports the viewer, reviewing the places and stories defining his life from the perspective of time, and of those who knew him best: his wife, niece, daughter, granddaughters and great-granddaughters.
