Fall, Altazor

Jessica Walker, Chilean director based in Barcelona, undertakes along with the members of her theatre company a free adaptation of the poem Altazor, or a voyage in a parachute, seminal work of Chilean poet Vicente Huidobro. 

Fall, Altazor goes into the rehearsals of the stage production and witnesses the search, difficulties and frustrations of the young cast while conceiving the play. The challenges of the task of adaptation of the poem are not small: Jessica envisions the process as an exercise of metaphysical exploration of existence itself. ‘We are incarnating the being', she states.
