Horacio returns to the limitless expanse of La Pampa after forty years adrift. From the solitude of his farm, he clumsily struggles to raise a bunch of rebellious pigs and to survive a hostile reality. At night, he tries to connect with others with his ham radio set. Around him, the towns vanish and give way to soy fields, and Horacio, like a castaway, wanders through the fields seeking relief, like an aimless soul, a man on the plain.
