Two brothers start making a documentary about two of their ancestors that, like them, were brothers and filmmakers. In making it, they discover that those two brothers argued and grew apart until they stopped speaking to each other. The mystery around the separation of their two ancestors compels the brothers to break the limits of documentary and to go deeper and deeper—by using fiction—into their ancestors' life, till they end up arguing and separating like them.
Their doubts about what is reality, what is fiction and who they are forces them to take their last step: to be reconciled through cinema.
